From Academy Award winning director Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13) comes the true story of settlers who turn their backs on modern society in favor of an uninhabited island in the Galapagos.

It follows a group of disillusioned outsiders who abandon civilization to settle on a remote, uninhabited island, only to discover that the greatest threat isn’t the brutal climate or deadly wildlife, but each other. As tensions spiral and desperation takes hold, a twisted power struggle unfolds, leading to betrayal, violence, and the deaths of half the colony.
Noah Pink (Tetris) wrote the screenplay, based on a story he conceived with Howard.
AGC Studios and Imagine Entertainment are behind the film, with Howard producing alongside Brian Grazer, Karen Lunder, Stuart Ford, William M. Connor, and Patrick Newall.
Eden premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last September before being acquired by Vertical.
