‘Dying Light: The Beast’ Has Ripped Onto Consoles and PC [Trailer]

The beast, both metaphorically and literally, is finally unleashed. Techland’s Dying Light: The Beast is finally out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Accompanying the release is the customary launch trailer, showcasing the primal intensity and tense emotions of Dying Light: The Beast.

Dying Light is back, and I couldn’t be more proud of my team and the game we created,” says Paweł Marchewka, Techland CEO. “Their passion, dedication, and hard work have resulted in something truly great. This project taught us more than any before about the importance of staying true to the core elements of our IP. For players, it’s an exciting return to the roots of the series, and for us, we’re back on the right track!”

Dying Light: The Beast casts you as Kyle Crane, the hero from the original Dying Light. After being captured by the Baron and enduring his painful experiments for years, you escape. Left on the edge of humanity with both human and zombie DNA, you struggle to control your inner beast and the conflict that comes with it. But you’ll need to, if you want to get your revenge on the man who did this to you.

Set in the beautiful, yet dangerous valley of Castor Woods that’s now overrun with zombies instead of tourists, Dying Light: The Beast boasts a unique blend of open world and action survival horror. To take your former captor down, you’ll need to form fragile alliances, as well as utilize all the combat and traversal options in your arsenal.
