Goku and Vegeta are back, and this time they’re looking after the galaxy. At the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event today, a special 40th anniversary video was shown, revealing that the next Dragon Ball Super anime is now in production. The new anime, titled Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol , is a continuation of the Dragon Ball Super manga, adapting past the Tournament of Power arc and into the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc. The new anime was announced on stage by Goku's voice actor, Masako Nozawa, and Executive Producer Akio Iyoku. A visual was released featuring Goku and Vegeta in their Galactic Patrol uniforms. Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol Teaser Visual Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Video The video was produced at Toei Animation with music by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer, known for composing the music for the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, DUNE and many more. The late Akira Toriyama is credited with the original work, story and character design for Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol . There’s no other information on the series at this stage.
