Netflix's official anime YouTube channel is now streaming a "First Look" trailer for the upcoming second season of the Devil May Cry animated series. The clip confirms that the new season is set to premiere in 2026. According to the streamer, it scored top 10 placement in 87 countries. The Devil May Cry games first kicked off on PlayStation 2 in 2001. The series was initially created and overseen by game director Hideki Kamiya ( Okami , Bayonetta ). Devil May Cry previously inspired an anime adaptation from Madhouse back in 2007. Netflix describes the animated series as such: In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms.
