TOHO MOVIE's official YouTube channel started streaming a super teaser trailer for the next 29th feature film in the Detective Conan/Case Closed anime franchise today. The clip announced that the next film is set to release in Golden Week (from April 29 to May 6) in 2026. The official full title of the film has not yet been revealed. This is a brushed-up version of the teaser trailer that was shown at the end of the latest 28th film, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback . Detective Conan 29th Film Super Teaser Trailer In the end of the clip, Chihaya Hagiwara, an assistant inspector from Kanagawa prefecture, said, "What did you want to say that day?" The official X (formerly Twitter) for the Detective Conan film series announced today that Miyuki Sawashiro (Fujiko Mine in Lupin the Third ) is newly cast as Chihaya Hagiwara, in place of the late Atsuko Tanaka who passed away in 2024. Sawashirio shared the following comment on the role: I am Miyuki Sawashiro, and I will be in charge of the voice of Chihaya. I love Atsuko Tanaka-san. I don't have much to remember her, because there is no day to forget. I read Aoyama-sensei's original manga carefully, and I wanted to do everything I could so that people would love Chihaya with my voice. I decided to get a motorcycle license.
