Demo Released for Slow-Burn Psychological Horror Game ‘No One Leaves the Field’ [Trailer]

While not part of Steam Next Fest, developer/publisher Digital Sagas is making sure their upcoming first-person psychological horror title No One Leaves the Field is part of Steam’s upcoming Scream Fest. Ahead of the 2025 edition of Steam Scream Fest, the devteam is releasing a demo for No One Leaves the Field (which you can also find on itch.io), giving those with an itch for slow-burn folk horror experiences their fix this Halloween season.

The debut release for Digital Sagas, No One Leaves the Field sees you waking up beside your locked car after a crash on a lonely country road. With your keys missing, phone dead, and wheat stretching endlessly in every direction, something in the shadows moves just beyond the edge of your flashlight. You are not alone here. Your only safe refuge is the farmhouse that flickers in the distance, but every step closer stirs the curse within the field.

As you look for a way to escape the maze of wheat, you’ll uncover the story of the family that once called this home. Notes, objects, and strange rituals reveal how desperation turned to witchcraft, and how a plea for salvation birthed the curse that traps you now. Adding to the game’s replayability (and general messing with your head), the wheatfield reshapes itself with every run. Not only that, but there’s a scarecrow watching the field (and you). It doesn’t run. It doesn’t speak. It waits.
