A free update has arrived for Death Note: Killer Within , the online social deduction game based on the Death Note manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. This one adds in the new X Kira and N roles, as well as a new 3D Mode and Premium Avatar and Customization Pack Vol. 6. X Kira differs from traditional Kira in that it can secretly recruit one Investigator during meeting phases, excluding key characters like L, Watari and Mello. X Kira can also create confusion among the ranks of Team L by using “Fake Surveillance Tasks” and other exclusive Command Cards. As a strategic counterpart to L, N can track character behavior and block identity theft with cards like “SPK Tracker” and “Money Chaos.” Check out the new trailer below. Death Note: Killer Within X Kira & N Trailer 3D Mode lets players freely move the camera around to explore, and the new Premium Avatar and Customization Pack Vol. 6 includes cosmetics like a swimsuit-clad L with a plastic watermelon and diving goggles.
