Mutant will release a Day of the Dead poster by Utomaru tomorrow, July 17, at 12pm ET.
The 18×24, seven-color screenprint is limited to 110 for $50.
“40 years ago, George Romero redefined the undead – again,” Mutant writes. “We’re thrilled to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this vicious masterwork with a new technicolor hellscape of a print from brilliant Tokyo-based illustrator, Utomaru.”
Romero’s 1985 zombie classic is returning to select theaters and drive-ins now through Halloween to commemorate its 40th anniversary.
In the film, the undead have wiped out every last vestige of the civilized world and now outnumber the living 40,000-to-one. Hidden deep underground an unstable group of scientists and soldiers continue to work to find a cure for this unstoppable plague.
