Beginner's Guide If you lack experience in solving crossword puzzles and don't have telepathic powers, here are a few fundamentals to get you started! What is the Crunchyroll News Crossword? The Crunchyroll News Crossword is a 10×10 American-style grid, largely inspired by The New York Times and The Daily Beast and populated with all manner of anime-related words and clues — titles, tropes, characters, theme songs, you name it! The goal is to use the provided clues to fill in every available square, A bite-sized 5×5 version is also available as a warmup for the main version, a beginner course for amateur solvers or an idle time passer. Other styles of clue include a simple fill-in-the-blank, example(s) of the answer, asking for a translation, or the slippery “?”, which indicates the use of wordplay. But most of the time, it’s just a question of “what is this?” Here’s how UZUMAKI might be clued with each of the aforementioned formats, for example: Junji Ito’s magnum opus, to many Naruto or Boruto “___: Spiral into Horror” Horror manga that takes you for a spin?
