Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts has announced that their new song "Nemure" ("Go to Sleep") will be available digitally on July 5 and that the song will be featured as the ending theme for the upcoming second season of the Call of the Night TV anime. "Mirage," their another new song digitally released on July 4, has already been revealed to be used for the opening theme for the anime. Since the title of Kotoyama's original Yofukashi no Uta manga, on which the anime is based, was inspired by the song of the same name by Creepy Nuts released in 2018, they wrote all the music for the TV anime's first season in 2022, including the opening theme "Daten," ending theme "Yofukashi no Uta" and insert song "Lost Time." The musicality of those songs, with their deep connection to the work, has attracted fans in Japan and abroad. "Nemure" is expected to be a deeply moving tune that expresses the essence of Call of the Night . Creepy Nuts member R-Shitei shared the following comment on "Nemure": Ever since I was a kid, I loved the night. I hated going to bed at 9 o'clock for some reason. "Yofukashi no Uta" begins with these lyrics. I think I finally understand now that I have a child of my own why adults have been trying to make me go to bed at 9 o'clock. We should not teach such fun and dangerous things so easily… Maybe it's not something you can teach or give, but something you have to take away on your own, without the help of adults. That's how it was for me with night and music. Until that time comes, I will still keep it all to myself.
