With Shudder’s “Creepshow” series having come to an end, The Creep is ready to turn the page with a short story collection.
Creepshow: 13 Tales of Terror will be published in hardcover, paperback, and e-book on May 19, 2026 from Monstrous and Evoke Entertainment.
Edited by Bram Stoker Award winner James Aquilone (Kolchak: The Night Stalker), the 260-page book includes a lucky 13 original stories inspired by the series.
Contributors include Steve Niles (30 Days of Night), David Avallone (Elvira: Mistress of the Dark), Nancy A. Collins (Swamp Thing), Dennis Crosby (Weird Tales), Keith R.A. DeCandido (Star Trek), Gwendolyn Kiste (The Haunting of Velkwood), Jonathan Maberry (Rot & Ruin), Lisa Morton (Trick or Treat: A History of Halloween), Nick Roberts (The Exorcist’s House), Thomas E. Sniegoski (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Tim Waggoner (Terrifier 3), Simon Bestwick (The Faceless), and Aquilone.
“Each story is a macabre celebration of Creepshow‘s legacy,” said Aquilone. “We’ve assembled a can’t-miss anthology, with morality tales of terror, justice, and cosmic retribution, all told with the Creep’s ghoulish grin.”
Creepshow: 13 Tales of Terror features cover art by Russ Braun (The Boys), and each story is accompanied by full-page art featuring The Creep by EV Cantada.
