Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel Anime Announces Classic 80s Rock Cover Album

In the 1983 anime series Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel , grade schooler Yuu used alien magic to transform into a teen pop sensation. Now, she's taking the stage again, this time to perform covers of 80s Japanese rock hits. The upcoming album ROCK'n Mami 80's is a follow-up to the character's 2023 album of J-pop covers, celebrating the show's 40th anniversary. Takako Ohta, who voiced both Yuu and Mami and performed Mami's original songs for the series, returns to perform 13 new tracks.
