The long-running TV anime adaptation of Crayon Shin-chan is getting a bit of a refresh this fall. For the first time since 2020, the series will be getting a new opening theme song! Idol group Fruits Zipper announced their involvement at their NEW KAWAII Fest today. Their song "Haccha Meccha Waccha LIFE!" will become part of the series this October. Fruits Zipper RELATED: Crayon Shin-chan 31st Anime Feature Film Wins Best International Animated Feature Film Award at ANN Awards 2025 The unit, who also performed the theme song for Oshiri Tantei the Movie: Star and Moon , describe the new song as "powerful," saying it will "make you want to start dancing along with Shin-chan and his friends." The song will replace Ketsumeishi's "Superstar," which has served as the show's opening theme song since 2020. The Crayon Shin-chan anime is based on the original manga by Yoshito Usui, which Futabasha serialized from 1990 – 2010 in their Weekly Manga Action and Manga Town magazines.
