The Crayon Shin-chan anime film series revealed today the 33rd entry in the long-running movie series based on the comedy manga by Yoshito Usui will play in Japanese theaters in summer 2026. The new film is entitled Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Kikikaikai! Ora no Yokai Vacation (“Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Very Bizarre! My Yokai Vacation”). The film features the voice talents of Yumiko Kobayashi, Miki Narahashi, Toshiyuki Morikawa and Satomi Korogi. The story follows Shin-chan and his family as they visit his father's home town of Akita in order to view the Omagari Fireworks Festival. When a strange incident to causes the residents of “Yokai Land” to begin running wild throughout Akita and the rest of Japan, Shin-chan and company are lured to “Yokai Land” for an unusual adventure.
