Cosmic Princess Kaguya! Anime Film Unveils New Trailer, Visual

Shingo Yamashita (opening animation for JUJUTSU KAISEN , Chainsaw Man ) is about to make his feature-length directorial debut with the Cosmic Princess Kaguya! anime film, and now a new trailer and visual are here to preview what’s in store.  The trailer features the film’s songs, starting with the HoneyWorks-composed “Watashiha Watashinokotoga Suki” (“I like who I am”) in the first half. In the second, you’ll get to hear a sample of the main theme, “Ex-Otogibanashi” (“Ex-Fairy Tale”), composed by ryo (supercell) and featuring a performance by Tsukuyomi’s administrator Yachiyo (VA: Saori Hayami).  Cosmic Princess Kaguya! Anime Film on January 22 It was also announced that Rie Kugimiya (Alphonse Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood ) has joined the cast as the fluffy sea slug FUSHI. Alongside Yamashita, Hechima ( My Oni Girl ) and Akihiro Nagae ( Drifting Home ) are designing the characters for the film at Studio Colorido in association with Yamashita's Studio Chromato. Specifically, Hechima is in charge of character designs in the virtual realm of Tsukuyomi, while Nagae handles real-world character designs.  Here’s a look at the real-world versions of Kaguya and Iroha: The film is also getting a novelization by Naruto Kiriyama and a manga adaptation by Taro Yoneda.
