‘Co-op Kaiju Horror Cooking’ Out Now on Steam [Trailer]

Strange Scaffold first online multiplayer experience in Co-op Kaiju Horror Cooking is out today on Steam with a generous 40% discount on now until August 12. The chaotic horror romp marks Strange Scaffold’s seventh release in two years, with the plucky developer having more on the way this September.

Co-op Kaiju Horror Cooking is exactly what the name suggests. In this absurdist online multiplayer horror game, players take on the role of medieval monks – the only chefs who can prevent the apocalypse. Feed enormous monsters with a catapult, evade supernatural enemies, and navigate a reality-bending labyrinth with up to four players (or more, if you want to risk your computers/sanity) before time runs out.

“I can’t thank the people who have been participating in the open playtest of Co-op Kaiju Horror Cooking enough,” says studio head Xalavier Nelson Jr. “Their enthusiasm and discussion around what we’ve made will be the foundation of the post-launch support we’ve got planned for the game, and the wider relationship of creative and production transparency that we want to continue at Strange Scaffold in the future. Our players aren’t just in the room for one game—we’re inviting them into our entire creative journey across the studio.”

In addition, players can also grab the game as part of the “Summer of Strange Scaffold” bundle, which also includes Life Eater, CLICKOLDING, I Am Your Beast, Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown for 30% off, stacked with the new launch discount for a limited time.
