After racking up massive numbers in sales since its release last year on Steam, Landfall has announced that their co-operative party horror game Content Warning will be heading to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in 2026. The announcement was part of the recent Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase.
For those who haven’t played Content Warning, the premise is simple: You and up to four players set out to film spooky goings on in the Old World, where you’ll encounter scary physics-animated monsters, cursed relics and other artifacts. After customizing your characters and buying your gear, head to the diving bell and enter the Old World to get filming. The more stuff you film, the better chance you have to go viral once you submit to it SpöökTube.
Of course, you have to survive and make it back to the diving bell in order to submit your videos. Once you do, and your videos prove profitable, you can use the generated cash to upgrade your equipment to record better videos (and survive more easily in the Old World) on your next run.
If your team accumulates enough views in three days – you get to keep going with your SpöökTube Career and live a life of fame and fortune. You can also sign up for sponsorship deals to earn MC to purchase island upgrades and hats.
If you’re looking to give Content Warning a try before it arrives on consoles, you can snag the game on Steam with a 30% discount from now until August 14.
