MAPPA and opening theme song singer Kenshi Yonezu have collaborated to release this opening movie from the feature, which is currently going strong at the Japanese box office. Hiroshi Seko returns to write the script along with Kazutaka Sugiyama as Character Designer, all at MAPPA. Souta Yamazaki and Shun work as the Sub Character Designer, with Sota Shigetsugu as Action Animation Director and Shoichi as the Main Animator. Riki Matsuura designed the devils alongside Look Back director Kiyotaka Oshiyama. Following a September 19 debut in Japan, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc kicked off its international screenings on September 24. The film will screen exclusively in theaters and on IMAX screens in the United States starting on October 24. The Chainsaw Man TV anime premiered in Japan in October 2022. Crunchyroll currently streams the series and describes the story as such: Denji is a young boy who works as a Devil Hunter with the “Chainsaw Devil” Pochita. One day, as he was living his miserable life trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, he got betrayed and killed.
