The official website for the upcoming new anime adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo's ( City Hunter ) Cat's Eye crime action manga released a main trailer today. The clip feature the anime's two theme songs performed by Ado — first the ending theme "CAT'S EYE" (a cover of the opening theme for the first TV anime series in 1983-1984 originally performed by Anri), then the newly-written opening theme "Magic." Cat's Eye Main Trailer Ado shared the following comment: This time, I covered "CAT'S EYE" as the ending of the "Cat's Eye" anime. Additionally, I am also in charge of the opening theme. I'm very honored. "MAGIC" was newly written by Tsumiki-san. This is a retro pop number that will make your heart dance, which is a new frontier from previous Ado songs. The anime will stream on Disney Plus. Let's have fun together. The anime's key visual has also been revealed. The tagline reads: "We will keep stealing. Until we meet that person." Coamix describes the story of Cat's Eye : A mysterious art thief named Cat's Eye exclusively goes after the works of European painter Michael Heinz. Detective Toshio Utsumi fails to arrest Cat's Eye at every turn, getting scolded by his boss, and even facing demotion. Toshio's girlfriend Hitomi Kisugi, who runs a café near the precinct which shares the name of this thief, is always there to listen to his gripes and give him a pick-me-up.
