Morticia Addams actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has the perfect answer: Danny DeVito as Cousin Itt.
“I don’t know how Danny DeVito hasn’t been cast already,” Zeta-Jones tells Variety. “Imagine Danny DeVito as Cousin Itt? That’d be so cool!”
She adds, “He’s gonna kill me for that. He’s like, ‘Yeah, they’re going to cast me and put hair all over my face. Thanks for suggesting that, Catherine.”
DeVito is a frequent collaborator of “Wednesday” executive producer Tim Burton, with whom he worked on Batman Returns, Mars Attacks, Big Fish, Dumbo, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and a longtime friend of Zeta-Jones’ husband, Michael Douglas.
Now streaming on Netflix, “Wednesday” Season 2 sees Wednesday Addams navigate family, friends, and adversaries for another year of kooky mayhem while being plunged into a new supernatural mystery.
