Kaoruko Miyama's boys' love romance manga Perfect Addiction announced today that the series will be adapted into a light anime. The new series marks the second entry in BALLOON Project's BL light anime works, with Saioshi no Gikei Meduru Tame, Nagaikishimasu! being the first. No additional details about the new light anime (such as the cast or the release date) were revealed yet at the time of this reporting. Kaiohsha publishes the original Perfect Addiction manga under their GUSH BL manga imprint, with the fourth volume of the series scheduled to hit bookstores in Japan on March 10, 2026. Described as a “heart-pounding romance between polar opposites”, the story of Perfect Addiction follows Akihito, an outgoing college student with a reputation for being a playboy, and Sae, an aloof “cool beauty” with no previous romantic experience, as they get to know one another and fall in love.
