Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk Anime Casts Maki Kawase

The upcoming TV anime based on the yuri comedy manga Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk (known as Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana in Japan) revealed another cast member today as well as new art and a trailer for the character. In the series, voice actor Maki Kawase ( Akira Ogata in My Dress Up Darling ) plays the role of Chang Chin-lan , an exchange student from Taiwan. Takashi Sakuma directs the Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk TV anime at animation studio Soigne, with assistant direction by Shuntaro Tozawa, series composition by Yoko Yonaiyama, character designs by Kou Yoshinari and music by Kana Hashiguchi. The series begins broadcasting in Japan in April 2026. The story of the series follows Botan Kamiina, a first year university student who tries drinking for the first time when she meets her dorm supervisor, third year student Ibuki Tonami, who enjoys alcohol but doesn't like to drink in public.
