The upcoming second season of music-centric anime Blue Orchestra has confirmed that Hokkaido-based band Galileo Galilei will be performing its new opening theme. The band, formed in 2007, recently resumed activities together after a six-year hiatus. They have provided theme songs for anime both before and after this hiatus, including Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day , Twilight Out of Focus and BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS . The new opening theme song for Blue Orchestra will be titled "Amadeus." The series is based on the manga by Makoto Akui. The story follows high school student Hajime Aono, who grew up a violin prodigy that won numerous awards and dominated most of the competitions he participated in. Despite this, he gave up on the violin during his second year of middle school. One day, he meets Ritsuko Akine. Akine inspires him to take up the violin again, deciding to go to a high school with a famous orchestra club. With the help of Akine and his new clubmates, he learns to love the violin again.
