The official website for the Blue Miburo TV anime announced today that the anime's upcoming second season, titled "Serizawa Assassination Arc," is set to premiere in Japan on December 20, 2025 . The site also posted a new visual featuring the protagonist Chirinu Nio and the main members of Miburo. Serizawa Kamo was the original lead commander of Mibu Roshigumi, commonly known as Miburo, which later became Shinsengumi. As the title suggests, he was assassinated in 1863 in real-life history.
