Blue Miburo Anime Kicks Off Season 2 with Creditless Opening, Ending Videos

The winter anime season is starting early for fans of Blue Miburo ! The first episode of Season 2 is now streaming, and with it come new opening and ending sequences — both of which now have creditless versions available to enjoy on YouTube. Check out the brand new opening, set to "Blue Noise" sung by Ryosuke Yamada of Hey! Say! JUMP! and the new ending, set to "Houmatsu" sung by Soushi Sakiyama. Kodansha USA also publishes an English language version of the series under the title The Blue Wolves of Mibu . Kumiko Habara directs the TV anime at animation studio MAHO FILM. Kenta Ihara provides the series composition; Manami Inose, Miyako Nishida and Yuko Oba provide the character designs and Yuki Hayashi provides the music. Crunchyroll currently streams the entirety of the first season of Blue Miburo , and airs the second season as its premieres in Japan. The story is described as such: The Black Ships arrive in Kyoto as the shogunate stumbles toward ruin. Living amidst the chaos is Nio, a kindhearted boy on the verge of discovering his destiny. He meets two “Miburo,” Hijikata Toshizo and Okita Soji, members of the band of Mibu ronin who will later become the famous Shinsengumi.
