With development on the Silent Hill remake underway, Bloober Team has updated fans with a revised release schedule for its upcoming titles. Among the announcements includes the global release date for Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, as well as a delay for their upcoming adaptation of I Hate This Place.
For starters, Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition, which is a complete edition of the iconic Layers of Fear featuring 2016’s Layers of Fear and the Inheritance DLC in a single package, will be heading digitally to the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. The Final Masterpiece Edition is also available on Steam, the PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series.
As for their collaboration with Skybound Games on I Hate This Place, the game was scheduled to be released next month from Bloober’s subsidiary Broken Mirror Games on November 7. That has now been bumped to January 29, 2026. The isometric survival horror title is based on the popular comic book by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, and will be coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
Bloober also updated fans on as-yet-unannounced titles, which have been in development for over a year. Project F is another title from Broken Mirror Games, which is due out in 2026. Details on the project have yet to be announced. Meanwhile Project M, which was initially revealed to be a Switch exclusive, but now includes the Switch 2, will also be due out in 2026. Again, details are to be announced.
Lastly, for you Trek fans, Star Trek: Infection, which was formerly known as Project I, is now due out for Quest 3 and SteamVR on December 11. This Survival Horror VR title casts players as a Vulcan Starfleet officer exploring a ruined Defiant-class starship as you battle an unknown entity that’s slowly mutating your body.
