Back in 2000, legendary Japanese director Kinji Fukasaku unleashed Battle Royale , a powerful and shocking film adapting Koushun Takami’s 1999 novel. Now, in celebration of the landmark feature’s 25th anniversary, Iconic Events and Lionsgate teamed up to bring it back to theaters.
