Antlers and “Servant” writer Henry Chaisson is making his feature directorial debut on Recluse, Deadline reports.
Mia Vallet (“Believe”) stars as Joan, a solitary audio engineer who returns to her family’s decaying country estate after receiving a call from her ailing father, an acclaimed but reclusive artist rumored to have dabbled in the occult.
Unearthing a malevolent secret decades in the making, Joan must determine whether the horrors she faces are the product of her father’s misdeeds or her own troubled mind.
Sasha Frolova (The Empty Man), Xander Berkeley (Candyman), Kimball Farley, Toby Poser (Hellbender), Frankie Seratch, Gillian Cooper, and Christine Nyland round out the cast.
Currently in post-production, the horror-thriller is produced by Restricted Pictures.
