The official website for the Amagami SS anime series announced on August 27 that the anime's original theme song artist azusa will perform and appear at the upcoming 15th anniversary event. Singer-songwriter azusa provided the two opening theme songs for the TV anime first season Amagami SS , and the opening and ending theme songs for the TV anime second season Amagami SS+ . All four songs ranked in the top 30 of Oricon's weekly single charts. Azusa announced her retirement from musical activities in November 2013 . She wrote on her personal blog at the time, "I want to finish the current stage as 'azusa' for the time being, and am going to start walking toward the next stage. I have decided to learn various things in different places for a while," and also added, "I will definitely find something to make my future life shine. So, please take care of yourself till then, everyone. I miss you, but it's a goodbye for now. I really appreciate all of your support till today." The site confirms that azusa will perform the theme songs of the anime at the event. However, it is unclear what her future plans are. The site also confirmed that the eight will perform a monologue reading drama supervised by the original character designer Kisai Takayama, with the theme of "Yokohama."
