A Star Brighter than the Sun Anime Premieres on October 2

The upcoming TV anime based on the shojo romance manga A Star Brighter than the Sun revealed an astronomical amount of new info today, including a new trailer, new key art, new cast additions and new information on the official opening theme song for the series. The series will broadcast in Japan on the Tokyo Broadcasting System network beginning on October 2. A Star Brighter than The Sun Trailer The new cast members include: Hisui Onodera voiced by Hina Yomiya Yota Ayukawa voiced by Taito Ban Mio Kagawa voiced by Mutsumi Tamura Yushin Izawa voiced by Ryota Osaka Motohiro Hata performs the opening theme song for the series, which is entitled “Stellar Days” and sampled in the trailer. Shueisha publishes the original A Star Brighter than the Sun manga by Kazune Kawahara in their Bessatsu Margaret shojo manga magazine. VIZ Media also publishes an English language version of the series. Aya Kobayashi directs the TV anime adaptation at Studio Kai. Yasuhiro Nakanishi provides the series composition, Jinfeng Zeng provides the character designs and Natsumi Tabuchi and Miki Sakurai provide the music.
