‘A Quiet Place Part III’ Moves into New Summer 2027 Release Date

The world of A Quiet Place is set to be expanded even further with A Quiet Place Part III, and it’s shifted into a new release date.

A Quiet Place Part III will now go wide on July 30, 2027, the studio announced today.

That means it’s no longer directly competing with James Gunn’s Superman film Man of Tomorrow, set to release July 9, 2027, the original release date for A Quiet Place Part III.

The third installment in the mainline Quiet Place series would likely continue the Abbott family storyline, with Emily Blunt expected to return for A Quiet Place Part III. But that has not been confirmed at this time. What is confirmed is that the new film will be directed, written, and produced by returning filmmaker John Krasinski.

The most recent installment in the franchise was last year’s spinoff movie A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel to the alien invasion saga set in New York City and starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.

With just three installments, the Quiet Place franchise has made $900 million at the worldwide box office, likely to become a billion-dollar franchise with the upcoming fourth installment.

The franchise centers on an apocalyptic invasion of creatures that hunt by sound, with Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbott surviving both of the first two movies and living to fight another day.
