Chapter 2 of ‘Stranger Things’ for ‘Dead by Daylight’ Announced, Coming January 2026 [Teaser]

With the fifth and final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things kicking off earlier this week, Behaviour Interactive is capitalizing on things once again in Dead by Daylight, announcing Chapter 2 of the Stranger Things crossover, which will arrive January 2026.

The original Stranger Things chapter has a bit of a story for Dead by Daylight fans. First released back in 2019, the chapter included the Demogorgon as a Killer, with Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington as Survivors. The chapter was delisted back in 2021 due to expiring licensing, but was brought back two years later.

As for Chapter 2, while it’s only a teaser for now, it appears the figure in the trailer is the series’ antagonist, Vecna. However, if Vecna is indeed the chapter’s new Killer, this creates a bit of a quandary. Behaviour Interactive had released their Dungeons & Dragons crossover chapter last year, which featured Vecna as The Lich. Granted, the Stranger Things Vecna is loosely based on the Dungeons & Dragons character, but it’s still a bit of a issue, since we would have two Vecnas if Behaviour goes this route.

Of course, this is all still speculation, since we just have this 20 second clip to go off of for the moment. We’ll obviously be finding out more leading up to the chapter’s release.

Meanwhile, the second volume of the last season of Stranger Things, which consists of three episodes, will release on December 25, followed up by the series finale on December 31.
