tinyBuild and developer OMYOG revealed during the OTK Games Expo that their upcoming shooter FEROCIOUS will launch on December 4 for PC via Steam. Accompanying the announcement was the brand new trailer, showing off a powerful new tool you’ll have at your disposal against the human and non-human threats on the island: the Dino Control Device (DCD).
With the power to command dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes, the DCD can be used to attack enemies and enemy bases, track scents, infiltrate restricted areas, open doors, create new paths forward, and more. Whether you’re trampling through foes while riding on the back of a dinosaur, or sending one out as your personal reptile wrecking crew against the island’s infiltrators, the DCD provides an additional layer of strategy when firepower alone isn’t enough to get the job done. And yes, perhaps you can get a T-Rex to to partake in the carnage…
FEROCIOUS centers on a man named Sam, who wakes up on an uncharted island that holds ancient ruins and apex predators, where every element of the environment shapes your fight for survival. Engage in relentless combat with the army of mercenaries working for Manifesto, a mysterious organisation with equally hidden motivations. To do so, you’ll need to craft weapons and gear using resources from the environment, tailoring your arsenal to suit your approach.
In order to survive, you’ll have to use every weapon you can get your hands on. Pistols, shotguns, rifles, knives, and spears make up only a fraction of your arsenal. It’s kill or be killed, so make sure you’re the last one standing. You’ll also need to explore the island carefully to uncover hidden paths, secrets, and essential gear. Turn the wild to your advantage: control dinosaurs to attack enemies, open paths, or infiltrate guarded areas.
