Snow Man Member Daisuke Sakuma Joins High School! Kimengumi Anime Remake

The official website for the upcoming anime remake of High School! Kimengumi announced today that Daisuke Sakuma, a member of the Japanese male idol group Snow Man, is cast as Sho Kireide, the leader of Irootokogumi (literally translated to "Handsome Guys Club"). While performing as a member of one of the most popular boy idol groups in Japan, Sakuma made his voice acting debut in 2020 in the TV anime Black Clover , where Snow Man also provided a theme song for the series. He has also continued to appear regularly as Kaito Hibiki in the currently airing TV series You and Idol Precure since February 2025. "Ever since the anime adaptation of 'High School! Kimengumi' was announced, it's been generating a lot of buzz. It really made me realize anew just how many devoted fans there are and how deeply loved this work is by everyone," said Sakuma.
