The three shared the following comments: Comment from Takehiro Kubota: “Thanks to all the fans who have supported My Happy Marriage, we are able to produce these three-episode special episodes following Season Two. I hope everyone will warmly watch over the two as they appear together in the beautiful new artwork. May Miyo and Kiyoka remain bound together in happiness for many years to come.” Comment from Reina Ueda: “I was overjoyed when I heard a new anime installment was in the works for My Happy Marriage. I’ve always hoped to see how Miyo—who has learned to accept both being loved and loving someone in return—would continue her life with her beloved husband. Reading the script, I found myself smiling at the sweetness and charm of Miyo and Kiyoka’s relationship. At the same time, I was reminded of how My Happy Marriage beautifully blends gentle moments with bittersweet emotions. I will give my utmost to deliver the full appeal of these special episodes, and I hope everyone will look forward to its completion.” Comment from Kaito Ishikawa: “I am filled with gratitude to everyone whose support has made these special episodes possible. Throughout My Happy Marriage, we saw Miyo and Kiyoka’s bond deepen, and I’m truly excited that we’ll be able to witness what comes next. Please look forward to discovering how their story continues as the two overcome hardships and weave their future together.” Reina Ueda Kaito Ishikawa RELATED: My Happy Marriage Renews Its Vows with New Anime Announcement The TV anime adaptation of the novel series My Happy Marriage created by Takumi Agitogi (story) and Tsukiho Tsukioka (art) aired for two seasons in 2023 and 2025, and streamed worldwide on Netflix. With no home to return to, Miyo resigns herself to her fate—and soon finds that her pale and beautiful husband-to-be is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, both realize the other may be their chance at finding true love and happiness. Source: Press Release
