Ghost in the Shell Video Highlights Motoko Kusanagi's Various Anime Incarnations

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1995 Ghost in the Shell anime theatrical film, a new trailer has been published that highlights the main character of the series, Motoko Kusanagi , in her various incarnations across the numerous anime adaptations. Be aware that portions of the video below contain brief depictions of synthetic nudity. Kodansha USA publishes an English language version in digital form. Mokochan directs the newest anime adaptation, The Ghost in the Shell , at animation studio science SARU, with scripts and series composition by Toh EnJoe and character designs and chief animation direction by Shuhei Handa. The Ghost in the Shell will broadcast in Japan in 2026.
