Bruce Campbell Voices Owl in ‘A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas’ Animated Film

Bruce Campbell isn’t joining the Poohniverse (unlike Robert Englund), but he’s lending his booming voice to a new Winnie-the-Pooh movie.

Hear the Evil Dead star as Owl in the trailer for A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas below.

The animated film hits VOD tomorrow, November 21, from Sharknado studio The Asylum.

In the heartwarming holiday adventure, Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends awaken to find all their Christmas gifts mysteriously vanished.

Determined to save the season, the friends embark on a whimsical winter journey filled with Heffalumps, Woozles, snowy surprises, and the kind of gentle mischief only the Hundred Acre Wood can deliver. Along the way, they discover that the greatest gift of all is the joy and love of chosen family.

Jimmy Gadd writes and directs the modern take on the classic characters created by A.A. Milne.

In addition to Campbell, the voice cast includes Angela Cole and Bianca Wallace.

A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas kicks off a new slate of seasonal animated films from The Asylum, with A Very Winnie Easter and A Winnie-the-Boo Halloween already in development.

This isn’t Campbell’s first foray into voice acting, as the horror icon has voiced characters in the likes of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Cars 2, “Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure,” and several Evil Dead video games.
