The upcoming light anime based on the boys' love isekai fantasy light novel series Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaikishimasu! (“I'll Live a Long Time In Order to Cherish My Favorite Step-Brother!”) revealed its two principal cast members today. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning in January 2026. In the series, voice actor Ayumu Murase plays Alba , while voice actor Shouta Aoi plays Orsis . Light Anime Broadcasts in January 2026 Tenma Asahi writes and Kazuaki illustrates the original Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaikishimasu! light novels, which are published in Japan by AlphaPolis. Aki Tsujimoto also illustrates a manga adaptation of the series. Yusuke Morishita directs the light anime adaptation at Imagica Infos／Imageworks Studio, with series composition by Izumi Tezuka. The story of the series follows a young man who reincarnates as Alba, the son of an impoverished aristocratic family and a supporting character in the protagonist's favorite otome game. Alba is infatuated with Orsis, his new step-brother by marriage, until he remembers that he himself is destined to die tragically as part of Orsis's character development. Armed with this knowledge, Alba is determined to dodge the death flags so he can continue to dote on the object of his affection.
