The official website for the upcoming original anime film L’étoile de Paris en Fleur ( Paris ni Saku Étoile in Japanese ) released a second teaser trailer today which includes footage not previously shown. L’étoile de Paris en Fleur Teaser Trailer 2 RELATED: L’étoile de Paris en Fleur Anime Film Goes Behind the Scenes in Intermission Video Goro Taniguchi ( ONE PIECE FILM: RED ) directs L’étoile de Paris en Fleur based on concepts created by Taniguchi and Katsuya Kondo ( Kiki's Delivery Service concept designer and character designer), who also provides the character design drafts, at ARVO Animation. Yu Yamashita ( Pompo: The Cinéphile ) designs the characters for animation, Reiko Yoshida ( The Colors Within ) writes the screenplay and Takayuki Hattori ( Martian Successor Nadesico ) is composing the music. The three confirmed main voice cast members are Ami Toma as Fujiko Tsugita, Rina Arashi as Chizuru Sonoi, and Taichi Saotome as Ruslan. The story tells of two Japanese girls who never want to give up on their dreams and reach for the stars during heavy times: Fujiko, who dreams of becoming a painter, and Chizuru, who has a fascination with ballet. They meet each other by chance in Yokohama and are then led by fate to reunite in Paris in the early 1900s, where they strive to pursue their dreams together.
