‘Paranormal Investigations: The Next Generation’ Found Footage Horror Sequel in Development

Although Paranormal Investigations has yet to be widely released, a sequel to the found footage horror film is already development.

Paranormal Investigations: The Next Generation has officially entered pre-production, with plans to shoot in the Outer Banks of North Carolina for a fall 2026 premiere.

The sequel will embrace a true-crime documentary format — introducing new faces, deeper mysteries, and a more chilling narrative that blurs the line between truth, footage, and fear.

Writer-director Raymond Wallace is back at the helm, producing via his Rayolight Productions.

“The original movie really resonated with audiences, and this time we’re pushing deeper—crafting a sequel that’s darker, more intense, and far more terrifying,” said Wallace. “We’re finalizing the script now, speaking with actors, and scouting coastal sites that will take the story to the next level. Our goal is to have the sequel ready by Fall 2026.”

Paranormal Investigations follows the cast and crew of a paranormal reality show as they enter the infamous Hennesy House. What begins as a familiar ghost hunt spirals out of control into a night of blood, terror, and sharp-edged satire.

Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu), David J. Rivera, Logan Stem, Tatiana Robledo, Nick Oprea, John Witt, and Terry Schappert star.
