Japan's national broadcasting station NHK announced 37 performers and groups for its annual New Year's Eve special live-broadcast program, the Kohaku Uta Gassen, including anisong singer LiSA . This will be her fourth appearance on the program since 2021. Kohaku Uta Gassen, literally meaning " Red and White Song Battle" , is a nationally popular music program broadcast on New Year's Eve in Japan since 1953, marking its 76th edition this year. Performing on the show signifies achieving high status within the Japanese music industry, and in recent years, many artists performing anime-related songs have also appeared. LiSA has appeared on this program three times to date, performing the following Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba songs: "Gurenge" in 2019, "Anime 'Kimetsu no Yaiba' Kohaku Special Medley" ( "Gurenge" and "Homura" ) in 2020, and "Akeboshi" and "Homura" in 2021. She released two anime theme songs this year — "ReawakeR (feat.
