LiSA to Make 4th Appearance at This Year's NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen

Japan's national broadcasting station NHK announced 37 performers and groups for its annual New Year's Eve special live-broadcast program, the Kohaku Uta Gassen, including anisong singer LiSA . This will be her fourth appearance on the program since 2021. Kohaku Uta Gassen, literally meaning " Red and White Song Battle" , is a nationally popular music program broadcast on New Year's Eve in Japan since 1953, marking its 76th edition this year. Performing on the show signifies achieving high status within the Japanese music industry, and in recent years, many artists performing anime-related songs have also appeared. LiSA has appeared on this program three times to date, performing the following Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba songs: "Gurenge" in 2019, "Anime 'Kimetsu no Yaiba' Kohaku Special Medley" ( "Gurenge" and "Homura" ) in 2020, and "Akeboshi" and "Homura" in 2021. She released two anime theme songs this year — "ReawakeR (feat. Felix of Stray Kids)" ( Solo Leveling Season 2 opening theme) and "Zankoku no Yoru ni Kagayake" ( Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle theme song). The song she will perform will be announced at a later date. Soon after the announcement, LiSA posted the following message on her official X (formerly Twitter) account : I, LiSA, will be performing at the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.
