Mark Duplass returns as Peachfuzz in “The Creep Tapes” Season 2, but he’s not the only madman on the loose this time around.
The elusive serial killer tracks down a copycat killer, played by David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil), in our exclusive clip from the Season 2 premiere below.
The series returns to Shudder and AMC+ tomorrow, November 14, with new episodes dropping every Friday through December 19.
Duplass and fellow Creep co-creator Patrick Brice co-wrote the six new episodes, with Duplass starring and Brice directing.
The series continues to expose a collection of video tapes from the secret vault of the world’s deadliest and most socially uncomfortable serial killer. As the tape rolls, the killer’s questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior and the victims will learn they may have made a deadly mistake.
Addition to Dastmalchian, Season 2 guest stars include Robert Longstreet, Katie Aselton, Diego Josef, Desean Terry, Alec Bewkes, Linas Phillips, Taylor Garron, Timm Sharp, Jody Lambert, and Jeff Man.
Duplass and Brice executive produce alongside Mel Eslyn, Jay Duplass, and Chris Donlon. Shuli Harel serves as co-executive producer, while John Baker produces.
Daniel Kurland wrote in his review, “‘The Creep Tapes’ second season is a solid upgrade from its freshman year. These six new episodes channel the tension and terror of the first season, but through surprising and subversive storytelling that seeks to challenge found footage and horror as a whole.”
“The Creep Tapes” has already been renewed for a third season due out in 2026, and Duplass and Brice still plan to make a Creep 3.
