Post-Launch Roadmap Revealed for ‘Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’

With Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 finally out in the wild, developer The Chinese Room has begun the task of squashing bugs with the latest patch. In addition to the new 1.0.4 patch, the devteam and Paradox have revealed the roadmap for future updates.

Among the various fixes, the 1.0.4 patch fixes the “Save on Exit to Main Menu or Quit Game” issue. The Chinese Room is currently working on the next patch, which will include the requested FOV slider and Motion Blur Toggle, as well as Improved Progress Saving.

“As you can see, there’s no slowing us down; we have listened to the feedback you’ve been kind enough to share with us and are building many of those improvements into the following patch updates,” reads the update from the devteam.

As for new content, Bloodlines 2 will see its first Christmas-themed update next month, as well as a “Custom Difficulty” mode. The new mode will consist of settings like “Starting Health,” “Masquerade Sensitivity,” “Enemy Awareness,” and an option to choose between playing only the Phyre quests or only the Fabien quests. The new mode will be unlocked once players have completed the game, akin to a New Game+.

The roadmap also lists the window for when players will receive their first Story Pack, which kicks off Q2 2026 with “Loose Cannon”.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is out now on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, as well as the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
