The final season of “Stranger Things” is coming to Netflix this November with a massive marketing push behind it, with Target dedicating an entire section of their store to exclusive “Stranger Things” merch. From action figures to retro-style cereal boxes, Demogorgon popcorn buckets to special themed Gatorade flavors, it’s a full-on marketing blitz this holiday season.
Over in the UK and Ireland, “Stranger Things” has even joined forces with KFC for a limited time menu featuring a fiery red “Stranger Things Burger,” and Netflix has also linked up with McDonald’s internationally for a special “Stranger Things” Happy Meal that’s now available.
Markets like Spain and Portugal have reportedly gotten the “Stranger Things” Happy Meal so far, which includes an exclusive Hellfire Dipping Sauce and a themed Happy Meal box.
The full meal includes a Big Mac, fries and a drink, along with the Hellfire Sauce and a mystery “Stranger Things” mini figure. The characters include the Demogorgon, Mike, Eleven, Dustin, Will, and Lucas, and they’ll be randomly put into the Happy Meals in blind box packaging.
The must-follow snack/fast food account Snackolator writes on Instagram, “This one so far is in Spain but a few other countries are already teasing it too so I’m *hoping* maybe this comes to the US… there has to be a collab with a fast food chain here for the final season!”
