From Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls writer-director Andrew Bowser, found footage horror movie The Decedent is streaming for free on Tubi.
Set in a family-owned funeral home, the film follows a young mortician who finds herself confronted with the supernatural as she works on the deceased body of a serial killer.
The 83-minute movie plays like The Autopsy of Jane Doe meets Paranormal Activity with a dash of Jason Goes to Hell.
Zoe Graham stars with Bowser, Paul Schwartz, and Jawaun Sanders.
The Decedent is presented by The FilmStream Collective, a partnership between Tubi and Kickstarter that helps bring crowdfunded indie films to the streamer.
It was shot on location at a working funeral home in Pittsburgh prior to Onyx the Fortuitous, but post-production was only recently completed.
