Early next year, Azabudai Hills Gallery will celebrate the anime film adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto's one-shot Look Back with an immersive exhibition. The event will feature memorabilia and replicas from the celebrated film directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama. The event is titled Look Back Theatrical Animation Exhibition – Kiyotaka Oshiyama: Emotions in Lines , and will be hosted and supervised by Oshiyama himself. Oshiyama also penned the line art for the exhibition's key visual: Look Back Exhibition Key Visual RELATED: Look Back Anime Film Wins Best Animation Award at Japan Movie Critics Awards The exhibition will feature a variety of production materials charting the making of the anime film, accompanied by commentary from Oshiyama. Visitors will also be able to immerse themselves in the world of the film in a variety of ways. Reproductions of two key locations from Look Back — Fujino's room and the hallway to Kyomoto's room — will serve as photo spots. Additionally, an "animation tunnel" of art from the film will surround visitors with visuals from all stages of production. While copies of the storyboards were distributed as a gift booklet to moviegoers previously, this will mark the first time they have been made publicly available in Japan. Look Back storyboards by Tatsuki Fujimoto Advance ticket sales are now open. Regular tickets are available, as well as two types of premium ticket: one paired with a limited-edition shirt, and another (available only via Lawson) with a satchel. The shirts come in five unique designs selected by Oshiyama, and the satchels feature art from the film.
