‘Terminator 2D: NO FATE’ Delayed Again to December 12

Bitmap Bureau has once again delayed the release of Terminator 2D: NO FATE, this time to December 12. According to publisher Reef Entertainment, this once again relates to the physical editions of the game, which need “some time” in order to fully assemble them for distribution.

Previously, Terminator 2D: NO FATE had been delayed to November 26 for both the physical and digital versions of the game, due to the delayed shipment of the components for the game’s Day One and Collector’s Editions, as well as the team’s desire to release both versions at the same time for fans.

Taking to X, Reef Entertainment explained that the physical components for both physical editions “have now finally arrived,” after the previous delays. However, as mentioned, the team now has to take time to assemble them.

“We are sincerely sorry for the repeated delays. We don’t take your patience for granted, and we never want to disappoint our community. Our goal has always been to deliver the game that you deserve, and we’re almost there.”

Described as a love letter to 80s/90s arcade games, in Terminator 2D: NO FATE, the story blends iconic scenes from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with original scenarios and multiple endings. You play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 through a variety of missions as you take on the T-1000 and try to put a stop to Skynet’s plans before the human race is annihilated. Players will also lead the Resistance as John Connor in the future, fighting on the front lines as mankind’s only hope in the war against the machines.

The game is currently slated to arrive for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.
