Pokémon Legends: Z-A is about to get a mega update with the release of the Mega Dimension DLC in a month, revealing more details over three new trailers today. Those details include the story information for Mega Dimension , which brings back Korrina from the original Pokémon X/Y games, two new Mega Evolutions, a release date for the DLC and a brand-new event that people can play right now. Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC Trailers The Mega Dimension DLC will see the player character, Team MZ and Korrina enter Hyperspace Lumiose, a spatial distortion version of the city from the main game, with Pokémon not native to Lumiose, as well as creatures that can go above level 100, something not seen since the days of Generation One and glitches. Donuts are a way of entering the distortions with Hoopa. The Japanese Pokémon social accounts teased special donuts that could connect to primal Pokémon. Alongside the story, the trailers also revealed Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur, who will make their debut in the DLC. More Mega Pokémon will be announced on November 19. Baxcalibur’s Mega Stone will be released via the Z-A Battle Club as a Season 4 reward when ranking up, which was recently made easier via an update for Season 2, which is currently ongoing. The third trailer revealed that Diancie is now available via the Mystery Gift feature, and can be captured through a special mission that can be played after completing the main story. To unlock Diancie, its Mega Stone has to be taken to Mimi at the Looker Bureau, who will start the special side mission where you can capture the Mythical Pokémon. RELATED: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Overview Trailer Covers All the Bases Pokémon Legends: Z-A launched on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on October 16. The Mega Dimension paid DLC will be released on December 10, with some features already available. Here’s how Nintendo describes the game: Step onto the battlefield and command your Pokémon directly—there are no turns! For the first time in the Pokémon RPG series, Trainers and their Pokémon can both move around in real-time battles, and your Pokémon will unleash their moves when you tell them to. Strategically swapping out your Pokémon and accounting for each move’s timing and area of effect will greatly help you in this new style of battle. Source: Press Release
