Celebrate ‘Stranger Things’ Day with 17 Character Posters

Today is Stranger Things Day, commemorating the disappearance of Will Byers on November 6, 1983 in the series premiere.

Netflix is celebrating with 17 character posters for the show’s fifth and final season.

They include Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Linda Hamilton.

Noticeably absent is Sadie Sink, who was left in a comatose state at the end of Season 4. Other Season 5 cast members not represented include Jamie Campbell Bower, Amybeth McNulty, and Alex Breaux.

Netflix will be streaming live from “Stranger Things” Season 5 premiere today beginning at 8pm ET with cast interviews from the red carpet, surprise appearances, the first five minutes of Season 5, and more.

“Stranger Things” concludes on Netflix in three parts: four episodes on November 26, three episodes on December 25, and the series finale — also in theaters — on December 31. Each volume releases at 5pm PT/8pm ET.

In the fall of 1987, Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.

As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

Netflix is offering 20% off “Stranger Things” merchandise today only with the code STDAY20.
