The official accounts for the live-action ONE PIECE series revealed the actor who will be playing one of the most influential characters in the story and Luffy’s brother — Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace. A short video was released featuring Maridueña talking to Luffy actor Iñaki Godoy and inquiring whether Ace ever wears a shirt. (Writer's note: He doesn’t.) Xolo Maridueña is best known as Blue Beetle in the 2023 film of the same name and Miguel Diaz in Karate Kid spin-off series Cobra Kai . Maridueña is expected to join as Ace in the ONE PIECE story in the third season.
